Jan 1, 2009 · So, the overnight trip was a waste of money since the whole reason we came there was to see the crater. Had it worked, we would have raved about the experience at Kula Lodge but since it didn't, we have mixed feelings about putting up with the rather spartan accomodations at Kula. It was nice. It was as advertised, simple and quaint.
