The important thing about Vic3 is that it's predecessor wasn't really a successful game and had been abaddomend for a while. EU4 is a very different game from Vic2, and has a very different character. I don't think Paradox would or should try to change Europa Universalis into a renaissance Victoria game, but I do think some of the mechanics for Vic3 Paradox has revealed so far could be turned into fun mechanics that could fit EU4's character.
